Keep at least three crosses or rosaries on you at all times. Not only are these helpful against the bloodsucking undead, but they'll make you appear to be wearing all black as a doom-and-gloom goth statement, and not because it hides bloodstains well.
 
Get a cat. Cats are very sensitive to the paranormal. Also cuddly.
 
All that silver bullet nonsense about werewolves? So not true. They can be killed by severing the head completely, and greatly injured by monkshood.
